10:30 - 11:30 Opening Session
Differentiating Research, EBP & Quality Improvement
Description: During this panel discussion, participants will learn about the important differences between research, quality improvement (QI) initiatives, and EBP projects designed to improve patient outcomes.
11:30 - 12:30 Poster Session
12:30 - 1:30 Lunch
1:30 - 4:30 Breakout Sessions (Attend one of the following)
Option 1: Beginning the Journey: Evaluating the Evidence
Description: Participants, new to EBP or with limited experience working on EBP projects, will learn about the EBP process and how to select and evaluate evidence to improve patient outcomes.
Option 2: Continuing the Journey: Skill Development for Implementation, Evaluation and Sustainability
Description: Building on foundational knowledge, participants’ will increase their knowledge, skills, and confidence in using EBP tools to develop implementation, evaluation, and sustainability plans for an EBP practice change
Option 3: Advancing the Culture of EBP: Refining your Project
Description: Participants will collaborate and work with faculty to advance a current project underway at their institution.
4:30 – 5:00 Wrap up and Program Evaluation
